With reference to your letter No.39625/1915

of the 1st instant, I am directed by Secretary

Sir E.Grey to state that he concurs in Mr.Bonar

Law's suggestion that the reply to the letter

from this office of the 27th ultimo should be

deferred until the receipt of the expected des-

patch from the Governor of Hong Kong on the

subject of the contribution to be made by the Hong

Kong Government towards the cost of the establish-

ment of a Registry of Companies in Shanghai.
